Emanating from SACU
UCASHO Enterprise emanates from the South African Communication Union (SACU) — a worker's union within the Information Technology and Communication sector. We are responding to the communication revolution that has taken over many industries in South Africa and globally, by providing an administrative service to the outsourcing currently taking place across the IT industry.
The name UCASHO originates from SACU: it is SACU spelled in reverse, while HO stands for Head Office.
An alternative to outsourcing
From the mindset of a trade unionist — with an understanding of the industry, the client, and the requirements of independent contractors — UCASHO positioned itself as an alternative to the outsourcing taken up across Telkom SA and the industry as a whole. We offer multi-discipline management of Field Operations Services, technology and outsourced entities, all under one banner.
Our end-to-end delivery solution is staffed by full-time, dedicated people, many from previously disadvantaged backgrounds — because the outsourcing model should create opportunity, not just cut cost.
End to end, client and contractor alike
We provide an end-to-end solution in the service delivery space — covering current activations and assurance work (commonly known as installs and repairs) as well as network maintenance in the last mile. We take pride in our reputation for service delivery to independent contractors, and in being a dependable administrator for our clients — ensuring the end-user experience is faultless and impeccable.
Our role is to make sure both client and contractor can do what they do best, while we take the customer-centric work off their hands.
